king cobra question here!?
Good folks help me out…{sighing}…been on line for hours and have had no success.
There is a part of the cobra’s mouth cavity that when it’s open it appears to have a straw like tube in the very center that sort of sticks up a bit, and I can’t tell what it’s for. Venom I know comes from the fangs, but what’s with the pink tube-like-whole dead center of its open mouth. It sits right about in the middle of the mouth when it’s wide open? Does something come out of there, or goes down there? Is it a windpipe????

Also if you can give me the name of that part I could look up the WORD and find out what I need to know.

it is to breath and when it closes its mouth it goes into the roof of its mouth so it can breath through its nose without opening its mouth im not sure wat its called tho
