upgrades on 4.9 l 300?
has anybody experimented with the 4.9l 300 meaning any upgrades to the engine i know not alot to do to it but just curious if anybody has done anything i havent yet. so far i only got the intake, throttle body spacer hypertech chip and an exhaust thats about it. i have a few more things im going to put on it when i get stae side again like new injectors venom 400 module, turbo gonna be my project and then pretty much upgrade the rear end convert it to a 4×4 and so forth. but please let me know thanks.
yeah been thinkin about the internals but not sure about that i think i might end up puttin in a 460 in her bein a light truck and all would be really nice
You really need to upgrade the exaust system with headers and flow through mufflers, but if your going to turbo charge it you can wait until then to get the turbo manifold or another choice is the downstream turbo. Then the headers will be ok. A nice street cam would be nice too..
