I dreamed of a deadly snake, but did I want to smoke him?
I found a baby snake in the park, he was only the length of my hand & as thin as my finger, black with a white tail unlike any type I’ve known should ever exist, let alone where I am (in the UK we only have 2 types – adder & grass snake) I was aware that this was a most deadly snake which would grow up to be the size of a python with a venom so powerful that if it chose to strike me my death was instantly assured.
As I held him just beneath his head, his tiny sharp fangs already visible, I was adamant I wanted to keep him despite the threat he would pose to me in the future.
…..I gave up smoking 2 wks ago to get fit & healthy, I haven’t had any difficulty & I don’t think I really miss it but could this be subconsciously related even though I don’t crave it in my waking hours?

No, it has nothing to do with you quitting smoking though I am very proud and happy for you that you made the decision to be healthier. Good for you.
As far as the dream goes, this means that there are people around you that are not necessarily the best for you. They could pose some sort of bad consequence. The snake is small represents how easily you are ignoring the negative friends you drag around despite the advices you are given to by other people. The decision you make in the dream to keep the snake reconfirms the risk of having bad friends in your life. So you may now want to just check the people you bring into your life. They are not yet so dangerous until you dream of another giant snake but they could as time goes by.
