Norton Live Update not working?
So today I noticed the status for my Norton is at risk and says the definition hasn’t been updated. I click on “Fix Now” and it runs Live Update and either get green check marks next to the “check for updates”, “download updates” and ” Process Updates” or it says I have the latest protection updates but when I “ok” it says it hasn’t been fixed.
I even downloaded the Symantec Intelligent Updater and ran the program and did 3 full scans but it doesn’t work.
What can I do?
Run all Windows Updates, download the removal tool from Symantec, download Ccleaner from Piriform, remove Norton, restart, run Ccleaner until your registry registers with 0 errors, restart, reinstall Norton if you wish to continue with it.
