I have 2 versions of Symantec Antivirus – ?
Corporate Edition 8.0 – For XP and Server 2003
Corporate Edition 10.2 – For Vista
About once a week, I download the latest virus definitions directly from symantec. On the 8.0 version, the main screen of SAV shows a definition file for 1999, but if you go to File – Virus List it says “Definitions Date: 12/30/2008″ (Or whenever I last updated).
On the 10.2 Version, the main screen of SAV shows a definition file for Feb 2008 (the last time I was able to use Live Update), but when I go to File – Risk List is says “Definition version Feb 2008″.
Am I even updating it? The update always says that it found and updated a Symantec product on my computer… Is there a way to get it to show up on the main screen?
They are not installed on the same machine…
