How can I activate Symantec Backup Exec trial software?
I am running the trial version of Symantec Backup Exec and I’ve purchased the license for it. How can I update the trial version with the license key? I want to avoid reinstalling the software if possible.
This question has been answered. I played around with the menu bar and came across licensing on one of the menus. I’m running 11d full version now. Thanks for your help.
since you didn’t specify which backup exec version nor the os you’re running it on, i’m going to assume you’re using 11d on windows. try page 85 of the admin guide (installing backup exec options to the local computer):
