Who Is The KidKraft Pink Retro Kitchen and Refrigerator For?
The KidKraft Retro Kitchen & Refrigerator in pink was made with girls between 3 and five years old in mind who love doing role plays that may involve making tea for her friends or dolls, or cooking her favorite dish.
Despite the manufacturer’s recommended age range of 3 – 5, many Client reviews have indicated that girls aged between two & eight are playing with this kitchen set, and their brothers are playing with them too!.
KidKraft Pink Retro Kitchen and Refrigerator Review
If you’re looking for a large and sophisticated miniature kitchen for your young one, then this particular KidKraft play kitchen is probably not very suitable for you.
The KidKraft Retro Kitchen specializes in being simplistic, so it doesn’t look like an ugly unit that stands out in the house, but disguises itself as part of the room and looks like it belongs to the house.
As opposed to other pretend kitchen units such as the corner kitchens, this particular model is also considerably smaller, giving you more freedom as to where you put it in the house.
But its size is big enough to let your child to delight in cooking her favorite meals, and sufficiently large to let a number of youngsters play at the same time. As well as being delightfully simple and just the right size for a small or medium sized home, this Kitchen set is quite lifelike and given detail just where it’s needed, with opening doors and turning knobs.
One thing you get with the KidKraft Retro Kitchen that you perhaps won’t with many other miniature kitchens, is a number of included utensils and cookware, including a blender, mixer, baking set and spoons, so you won’t need to purchase anything extra.
Despite its compact size there’s heaps of storage space inside the cabinets and refrigerator, enough to reserve room for anything else your daughter may wish to store away – her dolls and other toys if she wishes.
KidKraft vs Pottery Barn – Which Pink Retro Kitchen Is Better?
A lot of parents learn about toy kitchens from the Pottery Barn range, but the KidKraft Retro Kitchen is purchased by more people than the Pottery Barn mode.. Why?
Where Pottery Barn’s models have some delightful craftmanship with striking attention to detail and sensational realism, it’s also rediculously overpriced and far too big to fit into the standard home.
Both kitchens are quite comparable to one another, with the KidKraft one coming at a fraction of the price. The KidKraft model is also much smaller, giving you more room for more toys or furnature in the house.
The Pottery Barn version does have slightly more detailed and professional craftsmanship, only it isn’t worth the higher price tag.
