Advancement of technology between world war one and two?
I was wondering how technology advanced during the inter war years.
I know that weapons advancements were made and planes were more widely used but I was wondering how technology advanced as a whole. Was a new type of metal created for garbage cans? Were faster cars created? How did all of technology ( including weapons ) advance from 1918-1939?

World War 1 was still fought largely the old fashioned way – lots of horses for transport, runners carrying hand-written orders, etc. etc. etc,…
World War 2 introduced massed mechanization of transport and the use of electronics on a wide scale. Wireless radio communications, radar, electronic navigation aids, sonar, electronic countermeasures, fire control computers all took off during the WW2 years.
