Hi I am looking for lenses for my D50 and was wondering which lens will be the best fore shooting sports: The Nikon 55-200 mm F/4-5.6G ED AF-S DX Nikkor Lens for 150 or the
Quantaray 70-300 mm DI f/4-5.6 Digital Series AF Zoom Lens for Nikon for also 150 dollars.

Neither! But stay away from the Quantaray. Save up for a faster lens in the constant 2.8 f/stop range. Ever think of using an older used manual focus lens? Great glass, cheaper, bit of a pain to use but great results.
