Great Lakes Great Boats
Great Lakes Great Boats

What is a good 16ish footer sailboat i could build for Michigan lakes?
I’m 27 and in school.. i always find myself filling my time with numerous activities.. it’s now time to build a boat. I’m hoping someone could give me some pointers on a style of sailboat around 16 foot that i could get plans for and build to be sailed on Lake St. Clair and other lakes around here. Should I avoid flat bottomed boats for our great lakes?
