Why is my scooter so loud?
I have a 2006 Primo Excalibur that I was able to finally get running after 1 year. It has 5,820 miles on it and is a 150cc 4 stroke air-cooled motor. Its louder than normal, but it has no exhaust leaks at all. It sounds like the noise is coming from the crankcase, but its not a tapping or scratching sound, it sounds exactly like a decent sized exhaust leak. What do you guys think it could be? What is considered high mileage for these kind of scooters?
Exhaust gasket on the headpipe is missing or cracked.
My Chinese scooter dropped a valve at 4000 miles.
