Does the Excalibur poker room still only use PokerPro electronic tables?
I’m just wondering because I’m going to Vegas this upcoming weekend, and I used to enjoy it when there were real dealers, cards, chips, etc.
They have a live dealer poker room which is the way i like it also playing poker,that’s the reason they moved the tables more to the center of the casino floor. The old location was near the west entrance and is now occupied by the new sports book. There was a decrease in number of tables from 20 to 14. The new room is surrounded by a 3 foot wall, above which is topped by glass for an additional 3 feet or so. The Excalibur Poker Room is well known for it’s “kitchen table” poker.. Dont forget if you play more then 5 hours, they may give you a free buffet or a discount on your rooms if your staying there also..
Number of tables: 14 they used to have 20 table before they moved..
Games: $2-$4, (also $4-$8 Fri-Sat) structured, $1-$3, $2-$6 non-structured, which means the bet is anywhere between $1 and $3 (or $2 and $6) from pre-flop all the way to the river. The $1-$3 game has a single $1 blind. Also, No Limit Texas Hold’em with a $100 buy-in and blinds of $1 and $2. Also, $1 – $5 stud.
Tournaments: Yes, $35 Buy-in, daily at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM which return $25 (71.4%), a little below average for this price range.
Comps: $3 or $4 for 4 hours of play
Lessons: Yes, daily at 2:00 PM
Poker rates: Play 5 hours, then talk to poker room supervisor about a possible discount on your hotel room
