If Circuit City had better customer service, would they be filing for bankruptcy now?

In my experience, Circuit City has horrible customer service. Many times I’ve went in there looking for things, spending quite some time without a single worker offering assistance.
It’s not as if they don’t have workers walking all over the place, they just plain ignore you. The VERY least they should do is greet you as they walk by you.
I can’t help thinking if they offered even a token effort at customer service, they might do more business.

Amen brother! The Circuit City we have here is horrible when it comes to customer service. They make you feel like it’s a bother to help you and when they do help you they make you feel stupid because you have a question. Retail is all about customer service. I was in it for years. You don’t have good customer service you don’t have customers. Plain and simple.
