Bee Venom Allergy
Bee Venom Allergy

Bee sting during pregnancy question?
Is it possible for a fetus to have a bee allergy? I got stung yesterday and I called the Dr. and she said it was fine since the venom is localized. But being an idiot that i am I kept messing with it and went grocery shopping….now I feel like the bee venom is all over my food and can get to the baby. I know an allergy isnt bad the first exposure but if i eat the food he will get exposed over and over again. I have OCD and am taking medication. It has gotten worse since pregnanct. Should I worry about the food I purchased. My husband wont let me throw it out.
If I were you I would wash the food that you bought, just to ease your mind. Call your doctor and let them know that after you were stung you kept touching that area and then you touched food, and you want to know if the food is safe for you to eat. I think that everything should be fine, just wash, and cook the food as normal, the venom can not live through washing and cooking. Plus most things come in wrappers right? So wash your hands after touching the packages and before preparing the foods. Best wishes and God bless you.
