Very Poorly Engineered

Was purchased for my 14 yearold grandson. What an embarrassment!! He placed it in the family pool and it immediately fell over to it’s starboard side!! Very unstable, very poor design. We tried adding ballast which did help a little, Then the motor failed. Nice to look at but don’t put it near the water!

This boat has a couple of shortcomings. It is not properly ballasted and the RC system is very limited ability and quality. I bought the boat knowing all of this from various forums I visited. The good point is that the boat can be easily modified by a modeler by adding lead ballast to the keel and installing a quality RC radio with speed controller and rudder servo. With just a little modification this becomes an extremely fun model that looks great and performs well.

I bought this boat to give my boyfriend as a congratulation present. I works perfectly. It came in a box that was in perfect condition. The instructions for are very easy as long as you follow what they are saying. there isn’t much to put in it beside the battery and the top piece so its sprays water. I am very happy I bought this boat. THe only thing that i can say is a problem with it is that the battery dies fast. but all in all very good and entertaining boat. 5 stars
DO NOT BUY THIS. Instant LANDFILL!! Cheap and made to break..

My son loved this for about 5 hours. Then the engine burned out and never worked again. It also took on water in the hull and is very cheaply made. Dont let your kids play with it because the tower snaps off very easily. This is for adults that want something to look at not play with. My son had a good 5 hour run before we tossed it in the trash….
