Happy
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This boat is the best of the three boats i have bought and was the cheapest. It is fast easy to drive and has long batt life. The service was great

A ton of fun--better than I thought
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This remote controlled boat is speedy and sturdy. The remote range is much greater than I expected, as is the speed. The boat responds fluidly to the controller, making quick, sharp turns. It even makes a wake. It is relatively quiet for running on lakes surrounded by residences. Recharging takes 5 hours which allows approx. 12 minutes run-time. I hope to buy a second battery pack. A catalog comes with the boat. You may want to secure the antenna better as mine loosened. Grasp your remote tightly because everyone, young or mature, male or female will want to try running it.

Mine Cuts Out.. Would Give Higher Rating Otherwise....
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
...I would give this thing a better rating had it actually 'worked'... The deal is...when I FINALLY got to a place to use it (shallow bay with little current) it ran JUST long enough to get out of my reach, then quit. Fortunately the current, slowly, brought it to shore as I slipped along moss covered debris trying to get to it... I messed around with wires a little bit and tried again...only this time in a pool (as I wasn't ready to loose it quite yet...after 3 minutes of drive time). It ran on & off in the pool...so that's better than just stopping. Maybe I 'did something' when moving the wires around inside...I could tell it would be a lot of fun if it didn't keep cutting out. I haven't had the time to get back with the company about it. It IS fast (when it runs) and does turn on a dime...but mine has a problem. Hopefully yours wont. When I first powered it up I didn't realize that you had to touch both copper drive shaft tubes with your fingers in order for the circuit to be completed (as a safety measure)to make the motors run when OUTside of water. The water completes the circuit otherwise. There are two motors & they give you two extra props. It is powerful...when I set it down in the pool it sprayed water all over me when it took off. Good points if I ever get it to work properly. A swimming pool is a bit small to use it in but a good place to test it so you don't have to go swimming if you have the same experience I did.

Motor quit working
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Very fun boat. Very fast. However after about an hour of cumulative play time one of the motors quit working. (Not a battery charging issue.) Now the boat only goes around in circles because only one of the two motors works. My son is bummed out. I have not tried to fix it yet. Not sure if it's something wrong with the boat or something my son did. My son tends to take much better care of his toys than most kiddos, so I suspect it wasn't his fault. Probably just a loose wire somewhere, but still yet another thing to fix around the house.
